Body of 10th grade student found drowned at sea

(Baonghean.vn) - After 3 days of searching, Cuong's body was found in the Quynh Lap beach area (Hoang Mai town), about 10km north of the accident site.

Previously, at 6:30 p.m. on July 19, Phan Van Cuong, a 10th grade student at Hoang Mai High School, and a group of friends went swimming in Quynh Phuong Beach after playing soccer. While swimming, Cuong drowned and was swept away by the waves.

The family and local authorities immediately deployed many search measures in a large area from Quynh Phuong, Quynh Lien, Quynh Nghia, Quynh Bang and Quynh Lap but with no results.

On the evening of July 21, Cuong's body was found at the sea area of ​​Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town. The location where Cuong's body was found was about 10km north of the area where he had the accident.

The family is currently burying Cuong according to local customs. This is the third drowning death in Hoang Mai town since the beginning of summer.
