Proposal to transfer Nghe An Investment Promotion and Support Center under the management of the Provincial People's Committee

(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just proposed to the Provincial Party Standing Committee to allow the transfer of Nghe An Investment Promotion and Support Center under the Provincial People's Committee.

This center will transfer its personnel and all functions and tasks from the current Investment Promotion and Development Consulting Center (under the Department of Planning and Investment) to become a public unit with full legal status, under the direct and comprehensive management and direction of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. It will undertake the functions of a one-stop shop, investment promotion, investment support consulting and monitoring the entire investment process of investment attraction projects. The center's headquarters is located at the Provincial People's Committee for the convenience of the Provincial People's Committee and investors.

If the proposal is approved, the center is expected to be operational in 2017.

Previously, in August 2014, the Provincial People's Committee also issued Document No. 6233/UBND - DT on the proposal to improve the investment promotion center under the Provincial People's Committee.
