Yen Thanh: Most petroleum enterprises do not declare taxes

(Baonghean.vn) - To control the export and import of raw materials at gas stations, the authorities have inspected and sealed all gas stations in Yen Thanh. However, up to this point, many gas stations in Yen Thanh district have not yet declared taxes.

Mr. Duong Minh Duc, Head of Yen Thanh Tax Department, said: Yen Thanh district has 50 gas stations. Up to now, the Department has calculated the actual output and revenue on the meter, which was finalized in the 4th quarter of 2015 and the 1st quarter of 2016, but most of the gas businesses have not declared and paid taxes.

Specifically, in the fourth quarter of 2015, total revenue was 23,329 million VND (taxable), only 7,604 million VND was declared (undeclared difference 15,725 million VND). In the first quarter of 2016, total revenue was 13,239 million VND, declared 2,897 million VND, undeclared difference 10,342 million VND.

Up to now, Yen Thanh Tax Department has issued notices and documents to enterprises (regarding explanations and additional declarations). If enterprises do not comply, the tax authority will determine the tax rate according to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration.
