The National Assembly will have objective and comprehensive decisions on high-ranking State personnel. |
PV:The new government has a short “trial run” period and is immediately facing many consecutive events and challenges. How do you evaluate the management and administration of the government in the recent past?
Delegate Nguyen Thai Hoc:The new government has been in operation for a short time but dares to face difficulties and challenges, does not avoid or hesitate to discover problems, shortcomings, and limitations, and is determined to rectify and overcome them.
How to overcome and rectify the situation will take time. The past few months cannot say much about the effectiveness, but voters and people appreciate the Government's determination and frankness in assessing the situation.
PV:Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has sent a very clear message: to build a creative and honest government. How will this have a positive impact, sir?
Delegate Nguyen Thai Hoc:The fact that the head of Government has made a very clear commitment to the people and the business community about a constructive, honest and active Government has made the people feel confident and supportive.
People are waiting and hoping that the Prime Minister's responsible message will become reality through concrete actions, so that people know that the Government and the Prime Minister have made such a commitment and have fulfilled it.
PV:Delegates have repeatedly spoken in parliament about the strict enforcement of the law. In your opinion, how should this be addressed in the future?
Delegate Nguyen Thai Hoc:The National Assembly operates according to the law, the Government and the Ministries in the process of State management and social management also rely on the law. In order for discipline to be strict, all activities must respect the law.
In fact, although our laws are still limited and inadequate in this and that point, they are not really consistent, but the legal corridor in general has been formed. Therefore, the requirement is that in all activities from leadership, direction to organization and implementation from the central to local levels, they must follow regulations and have discipline. The leader must be exemplary and violations and shortcomings must be strictly considered. The people expect that.
PV:Thank you, delegates!./.
