(Baonghean.vn) - These days, Thanh Duong Commune Youth Union (Thanh Chuong)- Nghe An) is organizing the construction of upgrading and renovating the cemetery of volunteer youth who sacrificed their lives at Hiep Hoa culvert (Do Luong) gathered in the commune.

The volunteer youth cemetery in hamlet 12, Thanh Duong commune is the resting place of 9 children of Thanh Duong commune (1 male, 8 female) who passed away when they were only nineteen or twenty years old at the Hiep Hoa culvert renovation project (Do Luong) on ​​January 3, 1978.

This cemetery was built a long time ago and has been degraded. Now, with the consensus of the Party Committee and local authorities, Thanh Duong Commune Youth Union calls on and mobilizes union members, youth in the commune, Thanh Duong children far from home, and benefactors to donate funds to upgrade and restore the cemetery.

The tombs were rebuilt neatly.

The project will upgrade the entire cemetery, pave the yard, rebuild graves, rebuild the incense burner, reinforce and repaint the fence... with an estimated cost of about 30 million VND, and will be carried out from July 7 to July 10. In recent days, dozens of union members and youths in the commune have participated in the construction, transportation of materials, and renovation of the cemetery grounds./.
