Regarding the collapse of a floating restaurant in Vinh Hy Bay, Ninh Thuan Province, causing hundreds of people to fall into the sea, killing 2 and injuring 4, after the ban by the Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee, on the morning of July 24, floating restaurants in Vinh Hy Bay were pulled closer to shore. More than a dozen glass-bottomed boats carrying tourists to see the bay and coral reefs were also forced to anchor and were not allowed to take passengers off the dock. Border Guards and Waterway Traffic Police are on duty at the dock to enforce the ban.

Previously, at 10:43 a.m. on July 23, the Vinh Tien seafood raft was hosting about 300 tourists for a meal when it suddenly collapsed, causing hundreds of passengers to fall into the water. At this time, all vehicles on Vinh Hy Bay and local fishermen promptly rescued the tourists. Among them, 2 people unfortunately died, 4 people were seriously injured and had to be taken to the hospital for emergency treatment.
