Quynh Luu prepares to launch 8 ships built under Decree 67

(Baonghean.vn) - Quynh Luu district was approved by the Provincial People's Committee to build 55 ships according to Decree 67 (accounting for more than 50% of the number of Decree 67 ships in the whole province), currently there are 8 ships preparing to launch.

Wooden hull ship 67 was built at Viet Xinh facility (Tien Thuy).

Implementing Decree 67/2014/ND-CP of the Government on implementing infrastructure investment policies, credit policies for loans to build offshore fishing vessels and fishing vessel insurance policies, Quynh Luu district has 55 ship owners approved by the Provincial People's Committee as eligible for loans.

As of July 15, 2016, the whole district has 9 wooden-hulled ships built according to Decree 67 that have been completed and have gone offshore to catch and harvest high seafood yields, including: Tien Thuy 4 ships, Son Hai 2 ships, 3 ships from Quynh Nghia, Quynh Tho and Quynh Thuan. On average, each trip, ship 67 catches 150-200 tons of various types of seafood, with revenue of hundreds of millions of VND, each worker earns 7-10 million VND/trip.

Currently, shipbuilding facilities in the district such as Viet Xinh, Tien Sang, Pham Van Ngo... are rushing to complete 8 67 ships (including 6 wooden-hulled ships and 2 iron-hulled ships in Tien Thuy commune). It is expected that in about 1 month, all 8 ships will be completed and go out to sea for fishing, bringing the total number of 67 ships of the district operating at sea to 17.

Ship 67 in Quynh Luu currently has 17 ships.
