A student died after being hit by a train.

(Baonghean.vn) - At around 7:00 p.m. on July 29, Mr. Phan Duc Do's family in Nghia Tien commune, Thai Hoa town received bad news from the authorities in Ha Tinh that his son, Phan Hong Son (born in 1996),was run over and killed by a train in Pho Chau (Huong Khe, Ha Tinh).

Immediately afterwards, the family quickly went to Ha Tinh and confirmed that the deceased was Phan Hong Son. At around 10am on July 30, Son's body was brought home by his family to carry out burial procedures according to local customs.

The family held a funeral for Son.

According to family members, at around noon on July 29, Ms. Hanh took her son Phan Hong Son to the alley to catch a bus to Vinh to take the train to Ho Chi Minh City to enroll in school. Son is currently a second-year student at a military school in Ho Chi Minh City.

However, at 7pm the same day, the family received information that Son was run over and killed by a train traveling from the South to the North in Pho Chau (about 7km from Pho Chau station). Son's death is causing many people to wonder and be confused.

Phan Hong Son is known to be the youngest son in a poor family. In grade 12, Son was an excellent student at Phan Boi Chau School, Vinh City. In 2014, Son passed the entrance exam to Hanoi University of Science and Technology and studied there for a year.
