People highly appreciate the results of the 3rd Central Conference

The contents discussed and agreed upon at the Conference are all issues of great significance to the development of the Party and the country, both in the short and long term.

The 3rd Conference of the 12th Party Central Committee took place in Hanoi from July 4 to 7, attracting the attention of many Party members and people nationwide.

Master Phan Ngoc Tu, lecturer at the National Academy of Public Administration, Ho Chi Minh City branch, said: “Our 3rd Central Conference has just completed its working program. One of the important conclusions of the conference is to introduce high-ranking personnel such as the President, Prime Minister, and National Assembly Chairman to continue to assume their duties in the new term. I agree with that conclusion of the Central Committee, it shows the organizational stability of the high-ranking apparatus, which is a good condition for the country to continue to develop the economy stably and ensure national security and defense.

Mr. Nguyen Tri Tong, in Hai Chau district, Da Nang city commented: “After following the 3rd Central Conference of the 12th tenure, I see that this time the Politburo has made very careful preparations regarding personnel. Those nominated and introduced by the 2nd Central Conference, with 72% or more of the votes, do not have to be put forward for consideration and introduction this time. As the General Secretary concluded, this was a rigorous, serious and successful Conference.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Man, Secretary of the Quang Trung Ward Party Committee, Kon Tum City, Kon Tum Province, said that the contents discussed and agreed upon at the Conference were all important issues of great significance to the strength and development of the Party and the country, both in the short and long term.

“This third Central Conference has approved the working program of the Secretariat, the Politburo as well as the Working Regulations of the Inspection Committee, which is known to include the issue of expanding the authority of the Politburo in economic development leadership as well as increasing some authority of inspection and supervision for the Central Inspection Committee. This issue is close to the actual situation, helping the Party to lead more closely, more appropriately to the situation and requirements of the country in the new situation,” said Mr. Man.

Mr. Bui Duc Bon, Party member of Party Cell 1, Tan Thanh Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City, Dak Lak Province, said that the Conference has promoted high democracy in building the action programs of the past term. Especially building the operating regulations of the Secretariat, the Politburo, and the working regulations of the Central Inspection Committee. The promulgation of regulations in Party activities and the building of regulations for Party units have contributed to improving the quality of these activities from the grassroots level.

“Through the closing speech of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, I see that the central government has issued resolutions on economic, political, social, national defense and security development policies. The remaining task is how the party branches and localities can implement well so that the central government's resolutions can soon come into effect,” Mr. Bon commented./.
