Not the new supercars of Ferrari or Lamborghini, but the classic Italian cars were the center of attention at the recent Greenwich Concours Europa exhibition.

Tatra T87 1941:One of the surprises at this year’s event was the appearance of the Tatra T87. This sedan uses a powerful V8 engine, a distinctive design style and a luxurious interior, satisfying all classic car enthusiasts.

Maserati Kyalami 1977:The Kyalami first appeared in public in 1976 with a 4.2-liter V8 engine but was upgraded to a 4.9-liter in 1978. Only 210 were produced worldwide. The model shown at this year's event is the dark blue one owned by Richard Klein and Walter Eisenstark.

Lancia Stratos 1975:Launched in 1973 and designed by Bertone, the Lancia Stratos was a perfect combination of wheelbase, height and optimal interior. In addition, the car also had a 2.4-liter V6 engine and a 5-speed gearbox. In 6 years of production, only about 500 models were sold.

Ford Comete Monte-Carlo 1953:While the Ford Comete was made in France with a 3.9-liter engine, the Monte-Carlo was a stripped-down version with a 2.2-liter engine and a smaller V8. Comete production lasted from 1951 to 1954.

BMW M535i 1980:Also on display was the 1980 BMW M535i, the ancestor of the legendary M5. Belonging to the E12 generation, 5 series, and equipped with a 3.5-liter M90 engine, the M535i challenged the V8-powered cars of the time.

Lancia Delta S4 1986:The car has a striking red color with a turbocharged engine and an S4 intercooler system, giving a capacity of 247 horsepower. Only 200 were created before it was replaced by the Ferrari line.

Brough Superior 8 1936:The ultra-rare early Brough Superior 8 (only 20 were made) has an engine sound like a big bike. The owner is Nick Grewal.
