On July 9, District 1 Police (HCMC) coordinated with functional agencies to handle the Milano karaoke bar (Pham Ngu Lao ward, District 1) for allowing many customers to use drugs.

After a period of surveillance, early the previous morning, many detectives suddenly raided the Milano karaoke bar while dozens of guests were still dancing to loud music and colorful laser lights.

In two rooms of the bar, many men and women were high on drugs, lying on the floor. When they saw the police, they jumped up and threw or stuffed drugs under the chairs, but were all discovered.

Drug paraphernalia, tablets... were also found in other rooms. 20 men and women were booked for drug use.

Police detained Dinh Hoang Vu (19 years old) and Chi Dung (24 years old) to clarify their behavior of storing many packages of methamphetamine, ecstasy...

According to the investigation agency, Milano karaoke has a business license and usually closes at midnight. However, the players only come here at dawn. To enter, they must say the correct password.
