Mai Linh taxi driver slashed through the chest due to parking dispute

(Baonghean.vn)- While waiting for a passenger, Nguyen Van Phuoc (32 years old, Mai Linh taxi driver in Nghe An) had a conflict with another driver. The incident resulted in Phuoc being slashed in the chest at home.

Previously, on August 6, Mr. Phuoc drove a Mai Linh taxi with license plate 37A 203.66 waiting for customers in front of BigC Vinh Supermarket (Vinh City, Nghe An). While waiting for customers, Mr. Phuoc and driver Tu Duc Dung (24 years old, residing in Hamlet 1, Nam Cuong Commune, Nam Dan District) had a conflict. After that, driver Dung threatened to come to Mr. Phuoc's house tomorrow to deal with him.

At around 6:45 a.m. on August 7, a group of people, including driver Dung, carrying weapons, came to Mr. Phuoc's house. After jumping into the house and slashing Mr. Phuoc, the group fled the scene.

Nạn nhân được đưa tới BV Hữu nghị Đa khoa tỉnh Nghệ An cấp cứu trong tình trạng vết thương thấu ngực. Sau khi tiến hành phẫu thuật, hiện sức khỏe nạn nhân dần đã qua cơn nguy kịch.

Vợ anh Phước cho biết, Công an phường Lê Lợi và Công an TP Vinh đã đến bệnh viện lấy lời khai để điều tra vụ việc.

Hiện vụ việc đang được Cơ quan công an TP Vinh tiếp tục điều tra, làm rõ.
