The North Atlantic Alliance, after the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Commission in Warsaw, approved a comprehensive support package for Ukraine, which includes new 40-point measures.
"Ukraine won a pledge of continued support at the NATO summit on July 9, but Kiev's prospects of membership in the US-led military alliance appear more remote than ever," the article said.
The article also notes that after more than two years of sanctions against Russia, some countries in NATO and the European Union favor a softer stance in relations with Moscow and they are "increasingly impatient with the slow progress in Ukraine's economic modernization and the fight against corruption."
