A video about the life of Ms. Suu Ngo, a Vietnamese woman who cleans trash in the US, attracted millions of views and comments expressing admiration.

"There were people I didn't know who still helped me. Many people came to see me, loved me, gave me hugs and took pictures with me," Suu Ngo said. "People said I looked like a movie star. No, I'm not a movie star, I'm just a street cleaner."

Ms. Ngo lives in San Francisco and is a single mother. She brought her son and daughter from Vietnam to the United States in 1985.

In 2003, her daughter was murdered by her husband, leaving her with three children to raise alone.

After more than 25 years of working day and night in restaurants, 5 years ago, she became a street cleaner in San Francisco. The money she earned was used to support her 3 grandchildren's education and to send money back to Vietnam for her 97-year-old mother.

At 67, she said she will continue working as long as she is healthy and she is very happy with her current life.

The video and story of her life, published by the San Francisco Chronicle earlier this month, attracted nearly 12 million views. People expressed their admiration for the single mother and grandmother's determination, as well as admiration for her hard-working spirit despite her old age.

A fundraising campaign was also set up to help this inspirational woman. After 10 days, 238 people donated more than 5,800 USD, while the target was 5,500 USD.
