Nghia Duc is a remote commune, area 135 of Nghia Dan district, the economic life of the people here still faces many difficulties. To implement the national target program on building new rural areas, Nghia Duc chose hamlet 2 as a pilot. Through the survey, the biggest difficulty of the hamlet is still the rural traffic criterion, because most of the hamlet roads are dirt roads and only 1.5m wide. In order for people to understand and support this movement, Nghia Duc focuses on promoting the meaning and purpose, from which people clearly understand their role, rights and responsibilities in building new rural areas. Thanks to that, the mindset of waiting and relying on the state has been limited, the people of hamlet 2 voluntarily donated land, contributed money, working days, and construction materials to build rural roads.

Mr. Tran Dang Danh, a resident of Hamlet 2, Nghia Duc Commune, said: “We are very excited to receive cement support from the government and the district. People in the hamlet voluntarily donated land, cut down trees, fences, and contributed labor and money. Each person contributed 500,000 VND, like my family of 6 people contributed 3 million VND, and the labor day was also divided among the members. Now that there is a clean and beautiful road, people are very excited.”

In implementing the construction of the new rural areas, the local Party Committee and government identified mass mobilization work as one of the important tasks, creating positive changes in people's awareness, promoting socio-economic development in general and the movement of the whole people joining hands to build the new rural areas in particular. Along with that, the Party Committee and the hamlet front work committee have also created conditions for people to discuss democratically and openly, to do, to inspect and supervise the work of the hamlet. When the right to mastery is promoted, people clearly understand their responsibilities and rights, and join hands and hearts to build the new rural areas.
