Launching a competition to ensure traffic safety to celebrate major holidays

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 31, the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) held a ceremony to launch a competition to achieve achievements in celebration of the 71st anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2016) and the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2016).

At the ceremony, the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department summarized the peak emulation campaign to welcome the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term. During the emulation campaign, officers and soldiers of the Traffic Police Department achieved many outstanding achievements, contributing to ensuring security and order in the area. On this occasion, the unit was awarded by the Provincial Police Department's leaders to 12 individuals and 4 groups; the department's leaders commended 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in the emulation campaign.

Also at the ceremony, the Road and Railway Traffic Police Department launched a competition to achieve achievements in celebration of the 71st anniversary of the August Revolution, the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2016) and the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Public Security (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2016) with the theme "Friendly, responsible, humane traffic police - for the peace and happiness of the people".

The peak competition period starts from August 1 to September 30, 2016. The Department's leaders have thoroughly grasped the contents of the peak competition period and assigned specific targets to the Working Teams.
