On June 9, the Joint Control Station Km 15 - Dan Tien Wharf (Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh) announced that it had just arrested a person for transporting 32 animal parts, suspected to be bear legs and arms.

Previously, at around 6:00 p.m. on June 8, the interdisciplinary task force discovered Nguyen Huu Tung (33 years old, residing in Ha An ward, Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province) driving a motorbike in the direction of Quang Ninh - Hanoi with suspicious signs, so they stopped the vehicle for inspection.

Tung confessed to transporting the above goods for a Chinese man named A Ba from Hai Yen ward to Hai Tien commune (Mong Cai city) for 500,000 VND.

Currently, the interdisciplinary force has handed over the evidence and suspects to Mong Cai City police for investigation and handling.
