Previously, at around 1 p.m. the same day, a man showing signs of being "high on drugs" caused trouble on Thanh Da Street, Ward 27, so people reported it to the ward police to handle the incident.
Seeing the police arrive, this person used a knife to slash a police officer's hand, then ran to the 4th floor of the above house, locked the door and used gasoline to burn the house down.
Firefighting and rescue forces of Binh Thanh district quickly arrived at the scene, broke the lock to control the fire, and at the same time, coordinated with local police to arrest the subject and bring him to the headquarters for investigation.
