Miss Vietnam finals no longer have 25 million VND tickets

"Because the number of guests exceeded expectations, the organizers did not issue tickets for 10 to 25 million VND as previously announced," said the deputy organizer of Miss Vietnam.

Before the final round, the Miss Vietnam organizing committee announced that ticket prices for the final night would range from 3 to 25 million VND. This price is considered a record high in Miss Vietnam seasons.

The 25 million VND ticket is specially designed with an LCD screen showing clips introducing the 30 contestants, summaries of the rounds, pictures of the contestants and sideline activities... Guests with a platinum ticket will attend the red carpet party broadcast live on VTV9.

Ms. Pham Thi Kim Dung - deputy organizer explained that VIP tickets ranging from 20 to 25 million VND are issued quite a few, mainly serving honored guests and sponsors. She affirmed that the organizers do not set a target of how many tickets to sell, the important thing is that the organizers want to invest in a quality competition night with artistic performances to conquer the audience. "We respect every seat of the audience and ensure they are served in the best way and set the ticket price according to its value," Ms. Dung shared.

Ms. Kim Dung said that the organizers initially planned to give away a portion of the platinum tickets to guests and sponsors, and distribute the rest nationwide, but due to the number of guests exceeding expectations, the luxury tickets (priced from 10 to 25 million) were stopped being issued. Of which, at present, there are only about 100 economy class tickets from 3 to 5 million VND left.

Large scale broadcasting

After 14 years of organization, the final round of Miss Vietnam 2016 returned to the city named after Uncle Ho. To prepare for this big event, the beauty pageant's organizing committee had come up with ideas and taken care of the smallest preparations many months in advance, as well as a broadcast scale unprecedented in the history of the contest.

Accordingly, the final competition night will take place at Phu Tho Stadium (HCMC), broadcast live at 8pm on VTV1, VTV9 and rebroadcast on 14 local TV stations. Images of the competition night will also be reported live on the program's YouTube channel and official Fanpage. For the first time, the red carpet gala event will be present in the final night, the guest reception program will be broadcast live from 7pm on VTV9.

For the first time, the Miss Vietnam final night will be hosted by two MC pairs: Vu Manh Cuong - Thuy Van, Ai Phuong - Duc Bao. With the skillful and harmonious juggling of the two MC pairs, the organizers hope to bring the audience a memorable evening.

In the final competition night, 30 beauties will go through the familiar competitions of Ao Dai, Swimsuit, Evening Gown, Behavior (top 5). From there, the organizing committee will select the beauty queen, 2 runners-up and 8 subsidiary awards including Miss Sea, Miss Talent, Miss Integration, Miss with beautiful skin, Miss with beautiful hair, Miss with beautiful face, Miss Ao Dai, Miss with the most beautiful evening gown.

The beauty queen received a prize of 2.2 billion VND, 500 million VND in cash and other valuable gifts. The prize for the first runner-up was 300 million VND, and the second runner-up received 250 million VND.

The jury for the final night included historian Duong Trung Quoc, poet Huu Viet, People's Artist Ha The Dung, Miss Dang Thu Thao, photographer Pham Hoai Nam, Meritorious Artist Trinh Kim Chi, and Dr. Le Diep Linh.
