A poor student with the dream of becoming a successful businesswoman

(Baonghean.vn) - With a total score of 26.85 (Math 9.25, Physics 8.8, Chemistry 8.8), plus the regional score of 28.35, Nguyen Hong Nhung - A1 grade 12 student, Le Loi High School became the candidate with the highest score in block A of Tan Ky district.

Born and raised in a family where both parents are farmers, in the poor land of Duc Thinh hamlet, Tan Phu commune, Tan Ky district, Nguyen Hong Nhung has studied hard and strived to do her best since childhood. For 12 years, Nhung has been an excellent student. In grade 11, she won second prize in the provincial Math exam. And now she has become the candidate with the highest A score in Tan Ky district.

Outside of school hours, Hong Nhung also often guides her younger sister with her studies.

Nhung shared: “When I knew I got that score, I felt very happy and excited. The result is not high, but this year the questions were not easy, I also felt regretful because I lost points on the 3 easiest questions in Physics."

Mr. Nguyen Tien Viet - Nhung's father shared: "My husband and I are both farmers all year round, only knowing about the fields and fish ponds. When we heard that our child got quite good results in the exam, our family was very happy. Although our family's circumstances are still difficult, my husband and I will try to raise our child to study so that he can escape the life of working hard like his parents."

Because her family is a farmer, Nhung spends most of her time studying at home. In addition to the three subjects of Math, Physics, and Chemistry, Nhung also does very well in other subjects. Outside of school hours, as the eldest sister in the family, Nhung helps her parents with farm work, herds goats and buffaloes, and guides her younger sister in her studies. Nhung said she is always proud because although her family has many difficulties, it is always filled with laughter and happiness.

She is always a shining example for all other students in the school. Not only does she do well in studying, Nhung also has a good sense of training and morality, she is very obedient, agile and especially her communication skills are very good."

Hong Nhung shared: “In the future, I want to become a good businesswoman, able to do good business to help my parents because they worked very hard to raise my two sisters and me to study. I really admire those who not only enrich themselves but also contribute to society…”.
