Mr. Tran Danh Tuyen is currently receiving treatment at the Department of Tropical Diseases – Nghe An General Hospital.

Mr. Tran Danh Tuyen (37 years old) was injured in his right leg while playing football, suffered a seizure, and was rushed to Nghe An Friendship General Hospital in critical condition. Doctors said Mr. Tuyen had contracted tetanus, with complications including multiple organ failure, liver failure, kidney failure, pneumonia, and required a tracheostomy and mechanical ventilation…requiring long-term and expensive treatment.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tuyen's family was facing difficult circumstances. Following the news report in the article "Tetanus-infected wound, patient suffers organ failure complications" in Nghe An Newspaper on July 18th, Vietnamese workers in Taiwan playing in the two football teams "Chang Hua FC and ErLin FC" organized a fundraising campaign to support Mr. Tuyen.

Present at the Department of Tropical Diseases, Mr. Nguyen Van Truc presented Mr. Tuyen's family with 700 USD, money donated by his friends in Taiwan, to share their difficulties and encourage them during this time of hardship.
