Ngoc Tran withdraws from Miss Vietnam because she participated illegally

"The Muse of Hue" admitted her mistake and withdrew from the final round of Miss Vietnam 2016. According to her, the accusations that she had participated illegally in a recent international beauty contest were true.

A few days before the final round, the leading candidate for Miss Vietnam - Le Tran Ngoc Tran - was suspected of having participated in the Kim Moc Hoa Tho contest (Miss Vietnam World 2014) in Japan and won the runner-up title, but she was later stripped of the title because it was discovered that she had forged the signature of the authorities.

On August 14, the representative of the Miss Vietnam 2016 organizing committee received a request to withdraw from Miss Vietnam 2016 from contestant Le Tran Ngoc Tran.

"These past few days, accompanying you in the final round of the Miss Vietnam contest, I had to try so hard to maintain a normal attitude, even a happy one, but in my heart I felt very troubled and heavy.

Therefore, to save the organizers time from verifying the incident, and also to ease my mind, I decided to send this letter of explanation to the organizers, journalists and interested people," the contestant wrote in the application to the organizers.

In the letter, Ngoc Tran admitted that at the age of 18, she participated in the Kim Moc Hoa Tho contest (Miss Vietnam World 2014) without permission from the authorities. She said that because she was eager to interact and learn from Vietnamese friends from all over the world, she accepted the contest without carefully researching and not understanding the regulations, so she did not ask for permission from the competent state management agency when participating in the international contest.

The potential candidate for Miss Vietnam explained that she did not win the runner-up title, nor did she forge her signature as rumored online. Ngoc Tran herself felt that the contest was inappropriate, so she withdrew before the final night (held in Cambodia).

"The contest did not require any confirmation procedures, so there was absolutely no way I forged the signature of the Director of the Department of Performing Arts as some people spread online. After leaving the contest and returning to Vietnam, I reconsidered myself and tried to improve myself in studying and working. When I felt mature enough, I decided to compete in Miss Vietnam 2016," the "muse of Hue" expressed.

At the end of the letter, Ngoc Tran apologized to the organizers and those involved and hoped the audience would forgive her for past mistakes.

Miss Vietnam World 2014 took place in Japan. The winner of this contest was Ngo Truc Linh. She continued to compete in Miss Universe 2015 a year later and entered the Top 5.

Ngoc Tran is predicted to be in the top 3 of Miss Vietnam 2016.

After receiving Ngoc Tran's application, the Miss Vietnam 2016 organizing committee met and made a decision to accept the content of the candidate's withdrawal application.

Le Tran Ngoc Tran was born in 1995, 1.68 m tall, with measurements of 80-62-92. Her gentle beauty with a strong Hue accent helped her gain attention right from the preliminary round of the Southern region of Miss Vietnam 2016.

Although only 1.68 m tall, with a kind face, friendly personality and impressive academic achievements, Ngoc Tran became one of the strong candidates for the top 3 of Miss Vietnam 2016.
