Mike Tyson arrives in Vietnam, keeping his schedule secret

The famous boxer arrived in Ho Chi Minh City four days ago to film "Girls 2", but his information and images were kept secret.

Actor Tran Bao Son said that boxing legend Mike Tyson is in Ho Chi Minh City. As soon as he arrived in Saigon, he immediately went to work on the set of the film Girls 2 - Girls and Gangsters by Hong Kong director Barbara Wong Chun Chun.

"From the outside, Mike Tyson looks fierce and 'fierce', but in fact he is very cute, friendly, and professional. He shared with me that this was his first time in Vietnam but he quickly became interested in the people and culture here. Tyson said that if he had the chance, he would return to Vietnam many more times to explore more," said Tran Bao Son.

These past few days, Mike Tyson has been working nonstop with the film crew. Some days, he has been on set for 12 hours. In the film, Mike Tyson plays Dragon, who happens to meet beautiful girls (played by Zhang Junning, Xue Kaiqi, and Chen Yihan). Dragon helps them escape from the clutches of a gangster (played by Chen Baoshan).

"Mike Tyson's role is a guest role. However, his screen time will be more than in the previous movie Ip Man he starred in with Donnie Yen," said Tran Bao Son.

In addition to playing the lead role in the film, Tran Bao Son also serves as the producer of this project. He said that due to his busy schedule, Mike Tyson could not take the time to visit the beautiful scenery in Vietnam and meet the domestic media as planned.Mike Tyson is expected to leave Vietnam in about three days.

Mike Tyson was the undisputed heavyweight boxing champion of the world. He also holds the record as the youngest boxer to win heavyweight titles in many prestigious tournaments in the US and the world.

After retiring, the former boxer participated in many films such as: The Hangover, Scary Movie 5... In 2015, he participated in the film Ip Man 3 (Ip Man) as a boxing boss in the underworld. In March this year, he received the title of "Promising Actor" at the first Golden Yang Film Festival (Macau) for his role in Ip Man.

Girls 2 - Girls and Gangsters is expected to premiere in Hong Kong and Asian countries on Christmas 2016, before being released in Vietnam.
