(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of August 28, representatives of philanthropists visited and presented 2 million VND to Dao Xuan Thanh (born in 2012) with leukemia in Tan Huong commune, Tan Ky district.

Donate money to support Dao Xuan Thanh who has leukemia

Thanh is the son of Dao Van Vinh and Nguyen Thi Thuong, living in Hamlet 4, Tan Huong Commune, Tan Ky District. He is currently being treated at the Hematology and Oncology Department of Children's Hospital 2, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City. Since his hospitalization (October 2015) until now, his family has had to struggle to borrow money to pay for hospital fees, medicine, etc.

Vinh’s family is poor, and his and his wife’s wages are not enough to cover the family’s living expenses and their child’s medical treatment. Faced with this tragic situation, some philanthropists have mobilized and donated money to help Thanh’s family with medical treatment.
