The main threat to Russia's future is anti-Sovietism, nationalism and Russophobia, Communist Party leader Gennady Zyuganov told the party's pre-election congress on June 25.

"The coup in Ukraine has turned into a very aggressive anti-Soviet campaign. We must not allow anything like this to happen. Anti-Sovietism, nationalism and Russophobia are the main threats to the country's future and we must stop them," Mr. Zyuganov said at the party congress on June 25.
"That is why each of us needs to remember: In the September 18 elections we will fight not only for our parliamentary mandate. We will fight for the balance of this country, not allowing Russia to be painted in brown and orange tones," Gennady Zyuganov added.
