(Baonghean.vn) - On June 2nd and 3rd, the PNJ Charity Fund, belonging to Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company, handed over houses to two impoverished families in Nghe An province.

In Quy Chau district:

The delegation handed over a house to the family of Ms. Le Thi Ha (Tham 2 village, Chau Thuan commune), a poor household. The whole family only owns 11 acres of rice fields; besides farming, she also works as a hired laborer, but they remain poor year-round and live in a dilapidated thatched house.

Thanks to the attention of the Women's Union at the provincial, district, and commune levels, and especially the support of the PNJ Phu Nhuan charity fund, which provided her family with 45 million VND from the PNJ Shelter construction fundraising campaign, her house has been rebuilt: with a corrugated iron roof and clean tiled floors from the living room and bedroom to the kitchen and bathroom, covering an area of ​​45.6 m2;

Also on the housewarming day, representatives from the PNJ Charity Foundation presented gifts to the family. In addition, the Provincial, District, and Commune Women's Unions, along with the women's branches and residents of Tham 2 village, also presented gifts, hoping that she would overcome difficulties and thrive in life.

On the morning of June 3rd, the Nghe An Provincial Women's Union and the Nghi Loc District Women's Union, in coordination with Phu Nhuan Gold, Silver and Gemstone Company, organized the handover of a "House of Love" to Ms. Dau Thi Hoan in Lai Hamlet, Nghi Yen Commune. Ms. Hoan is a woman born deaf and mute, raising her young child alone.

The house, a single-story structure with two rooms, has a usable area of ​​45 square meters and a total construction cost of 90 million VND. Of this amount, Phu Nhuan Jewelry Company contributed 45 million VND. The remainder was raised through donations from the Provincial, District, and Commune Women's Unions, other organizations, relatives, and neighbors.

Although the house is not large, it provides a safe and cozy place to live for the mother and daughter, giving them the strength to overcome difficulties in life.
