(Baonghean.vn)- Bicycles from the French colonial period are still preserved by some antique bicycle collectors in Vinh city. Many bicycles only retain basic details and a few others are still almost original.

Mr. Ha Giang Son, 56 years old, a freelancer, currently owns more than 50 antique bicycles of all kinds and is considered the person with the most antique bicycles in Vinh city.

The first French Peugeot men's car was produced in the early 20th century and was bought by Mr. Son for 15 million VND.

This male Peugeot still retains almost all the typical features from the frame, hub, saddle, handlebars, brakes, lights... The front hub still has the original French writing.

The Peugeot still has its old registration plate. According to Mr. Son, in the past, a Peugeot or Favorite bicycle was a fortune. If the bike was on the road without a license plate, the police could easily catch it and send it to jail.
