Shooting in the US, 13 people injured

Police found 11 men and two women shot. All victims were taken to hospital, one woman in critical condition.

US police said that in the early morning of August 21 (local time), in Bridgeport, the most populous city in Connecticut state, a shooting occurred, injuring 13 people at a family party.

Police received reports of a shooting at 1:30 a.m.

Police blocked off the scene and are investigating the cause.

When police arrived at the scene, they found 11 men and two women shot. All were taken to hospital, including a woman who suffered facial injuries and is in critical condition.
