Talks between the People's Councils of Bolikhamxay and Nghe An provinces

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 23, the working delegation of the People's Council of Bolikhamxay province led by Mr. Su Van Ny Xay Xa Na, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, had a meeting with the People's Council of Nghe An province at the Office of the Provincial People's Council.

Attending the Conference, on the side of Nghe An province, there were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Cao Thi Hien, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Hoang Viet Duong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; representatives of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation and departments and branches.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Xuan Son expressed his joy at seeing the friendship between Vietnam and Laos in general and between Nghe An and Bolikhamxay provinces in particular being increasingly nurtured.

The Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province hopes that the working trip of Comrade Su Van Ny Xay Xa Na will help to exchange many experiences in the activities of the People's Council at the provincial level as well as increase mutual understanding. He also believes that this working session is just the beginning and the two sides will have many exchanges in the coming time.

The leaders of the Bolikhamxay Provincial People's Council gave an overview of the results of the Lao National Assembly election as well as the results of the recent Provincial People's Council session, the leadership apparatus and organizational structure, and also reported on the socio-economic situation of the province in recent times.

Comrade Su Van Ny Xay Xa Na expressed his desire to exchange experiences as well as cooperate and understand each other between the two provinces. He also shared that this was the first time Bolikhamxay officially established a provincial People's Council, so there were many difficulties. He wished to learn from the experience of the Nghe An Provincial People's Council.
