Through the Women's Association of the commune, Ms. Tien borrowed 6 million VND to buy a breeding cow. After breeding six calves, she sold three to build a house. In 2009, she borrowed another 7 million VND, investing further in livestock farming and forestry. Thanks to her hard work and diligence, her family was removed from the list of poor households in 2010.
Currently, her family raises many buffaloes and cows, grows various fruit trees, and cultivates 1 hectare of passion fruit. By proactively learning new livestock and production techniques, their animals and crops thrive. Passion fruit alone yields an average of 30-40 tons per year, resulting in a net profit of nearly 100 million VND per year after deducting expenses. Seeing Ms. Tien's success in livestock farming and passion fruit cultivation, other women in the village have followed suit, and now 64 member families in the village participate in passion fruit cultivation, covering a total area of over 20 hectares.

Recognizing the growing demand for clean food, Ms. Tien's family planned their land for growing vegetables and digging a pond for raising fish. They produce seasonal crops, and their products are popular with many people. This integrated farming model (VACR) brings her family an income of over 150 million VND per year.
Commenting on Ms. Tien's development model, Ms. Vi Thi Sinh – President of the Women's Association of Tri Le commune – affirmed: “Ms. Luong Thi Tien's family was previously a poor household. After the commune's women's association launched a loan program to help each other develop their economy, she volunteered to develop the model. Initially, she borrowed a small amount of capital for livestock farming, then her family planted passion fruit and other crops, increasing their income and becoming a wealthy household in the border region...”.

In 2016, she had the honor of representing the commune's Women's Association to present a paper on women in Tri Le's economic development at the Conference honoring women of ethnic minorities in the Northwest region who excel in economic activities.
