Nghe An won first prize in men's singles and third prize in the overall team at the National Beach Shuttlecock Championship

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of September 2, at Cua Lo Town, the General Department of Sports in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An organized the closing ceremony and award ceremony of the 2016 National Beach Shuttlecock Championship.

This tournament has 100 athletes from 7 provinces and cities. These are units with strong shuttlecock development movements in the country. Over 3 days of competition (August 31 - September 2, 2016), the athletes have contributed to the tournament with many good, dramatic and attractive matches, bringing the audience relaxing moments and interesting experiences.

The organizing committee awarded prizes to the winning teams.

This is a tournament within the national competition system, organized to help athletes compete, accumulate experience and through this tournament is an opportunity to select excellent athletes for the national team to prepare to participate in the 2016 Asian Beach Games in Da Nang.

At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Hanoi delegation, the second prize to Bac Giang and the third prize to Nghe An.

The organizing committee also awarded many prizes, including first prizes: Nghe An men's singles, Hanoi women's singles, men's and women's doubles for athletes from Bac Giang, mixed doubles and men's team for athletes from Hanoi and first prize for women's team for athletes from Da Nang.
