Successfully rescued 18-month-old girl restrained with pieces of ceramic

An 18-month-old girl was recently rescued by police officers from the hands of a young man who was controlling her with a sharp object.

Cam Giang District Police (Hai Duong) said on the morning of June 6 that they are continuing to investigate a child kidnapping case that occurred in the area.

Previously, at around 5:30 p.m. on June 5, Cam Giang District Police received an urgent report from the people about a young man suddenly breaking into the house of Mr. Vu Xuan T. (born in 1986, in Lai Cach town, Cam Giang district, Hai Duong province). Here, the subject used a piece of porcelain to capture an 18-month-old girl (Mr. T.'s daughter) and then carried her to the second floor of the building.

Cam Giang District Police deployed forces to block off the scene. However, because the young man was aggressive and reckless, the police chose to slowly approach, persuade and persuade him.

At 6:30 p.m. on the same day, June 5, the police force of Cam Giang district persuaded the young man to return the child.

The young man who kidnapped the girl was identified as Ta Van Vy (born 1987) from Muong Ang district, Dien Bien province. At the police station, Vy confessed that he had used drugs a few days before.

The baby was rescued in time and was not injured. His health is now stable.
