Plane suddenly landed because a girl was 'forced to kiss'

An Alaska Airlines plane made an emergency landing in Seattle after a man attempted to kiss the girl sleeping in the seat next to him.

The incident occurred on a scheduled flight from Portland, Oregon to Anchorage, Alaska.

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport spokesman Perry Cooper said on June 21 that Seattle police arrested a 23-year-old California man on charges of “fourth-degree assault.”

The man arrested intentionally kissed a 16-year-old girl who was asleep in the seat next to him, Mr Cooper said.

The pilot discovered the incident, immediately made an emergency landing, and reported it to the police.

Mr. Cooper said the man was cooperative when he was arrested. He is expected to be held in the King County Jail.

After the man was arrested, the plane continued to take off as scheduled./.
