Motorcycle crashes into horse cart, two young men in critical condition

(Baonghean.vn) - Two young men, about 29-30 years old, were riding a motorbike in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh. When they reached the foot of Cau Giat Bridge, they suddenly crashed into a horse-drawn carriage going in the same direction. The collision caused the motorbike to fly dozens of meters away, leaving the two young men in critical condition.

At around 6:00 p.m. on September 5, on National Highway 1A, through Block 6, Cau Giat Town, Quynh Luu, a traffic accident occurred when a young man riding a motorbike carrying a friend was speeding and crashed into a horse-drawn carriage going in the same direction, causing two casualties.

Locals who witnessed the accident said that at the time, two young men around 29-30 years old (identity unknown) were riding a motorbike with license plate 37 K6 4323 speeding in the direction of Hanoi - Vinh. When they reached the foot of Cau Giat Bridge, they suddenly crashed into a horse carriage (driven by Mr. Nguyen Van Trang, Thuan Nghia hamlet, Quynh Lam commune, Quynh Luu district) in the same direction, causing the motorbike to fly dozens of meters away.

At the scene, the motorbike was damaged in the front. Local people urgently took the two victims in critical condition to the hospital for emergency treatment. Traffic police of Quynh Luu police arrived promptly to find the cause and resolve the incident.

It is known that two young men had just left a dog meat restaurant when the accident happened.
