On August 13, Tien Giang Provincial Police said they were investigating a house burglary, stealing nearly 800 million VND worth of property in My Tho City on the evening of August 12.

Accordingly, at around 8:30 p.m. on August 12, Mr. Tran Huy Hung (35 years old) and his wife, Ms. Truong Hong Ha My (30 years old), both living at 122A, Le Van Pham Street, Ward 5, My Tho City, came home from work to find the door of the house closed but some items inside were disturbed.

Upon inspection, the family's safe had its automatic lock (with password) cut open, and many items in the room were disturbed.

The entire property stored in the safe included: 6,800 USD, 500 Australian dollars, more than 20 gold bars, a 6-millimeter diamond ring, a ring made in the US, a small ivory tusk, and necklaces, bracelets... were stolen. The total value of the property reported by the homeowner was nearly 800 million VND.

It is known that My's family is in the large construction materials business in My Tho city.

On the morning of August 13, the Criminal Police Department PC45 of Tien Giang Provincial Police coordinated with professional units to examine the scene and investigate the incident.
