Collision with truck, one person in critical condition

(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of August 19, a Dan Lai couple in Mon Son commune (Con Cuong) were driving a motorbike and collided with a truck going in the opposite direction, leaving the wife in critical condition.

The accident occurred in Lien Son village, Luc Da commune, Con Cuong district between a motorbike with license plate 37Z2 - 1567 driven by Ms. La Thi Son (carrying her husband) residing in Co Phat village, Mon Son commune (Con Cuong) and a truck with license plate 38C - 04.266 driven by Mr. Luong Van Manh residing in Xang village, Luc Da commune (Con Cuong).

The collision caused Ms. La Thi Son to be seriously injured and was taken to Luc Da Commune Health Station for treatment by local people. However, due to the severity of her injuries, the victim was transferred to the Southwest Regional General Hospital for emergency treatment.

After the accident, the authorities were also present in time to take the victim to the emergency room, investigate the cause, and clear the scene for other vehicles to travel on this route. Currently, Con Cuong District Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
