At the meeting, members of the Party Executive Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches all said that the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015 - 2020, set high goals and determination with a faster and higher speed.

Many solutions and approaches to both focus and mass development have been analyzed and clarified. For example, to achieve the target of agricultural economic growth, it is necessary to quickly promote agricultural restructuring; linking the promotion of development with the application of scientific and technological advances and processing.

In attracting investment, in addition to prioritizing large projects, creating development momentum and increasing revenue for the province, it is necessary to attract projects with high social value, projects that create jobs and create stable income for people - this is a sustainable solution to hunger eradication and poverty reduction.

Many large projects in Nghe An come into operation, contributing to creating jobs for workers.

The Provincial People's Committee is also researching to change mechanisms and policies to attract investment and support businesses, avoiding the situation where investors take advantage of policies without actually investing, while the province loses revenue.

He suggested that the Party Executive Committee need to discuss democratically to find solutions and resolve the issues well. Currently, Nghe An has over 100,000 hectares of raw material forests, with 7,000-8,000 hectares of raw material forests exploited annually. This is an important source of raw materials for the development of the wood industry.

Industrial and construction development needs to prioritize attracting projects that create jobs and income for the people; strictly control environmental issues. Focus on solutions to increase budget revenue, prevent tax losses; manage land well; pay attention to implementing well the work of hunger eradication and poverty reduction...

In the immediate future, focus on directing summer-autumn production, ensuring water sources for production and daily life of the people; pay attention to preventing and combating counterfeit and poor quality goods effectively.
