The Ministry of Education and Training has recently sent a document to schools and academies nationwide regarding strengthening the implementation of the Prime Minister's Directive 10, which incorporates anti-corruption content into the curriculum..
At the high school level, schools need to focus on educating students about ethical integrity, combining this with the teaching of anti-corruption laws with appropriate time allocation. The Ministry encourages teachers to integrate this content into their lesson plans and teach it using flexible and effective methods.
Pre-university schools and faculties should select appropriate teaching methods on anti-corruption laws for students based on their specific circumstances, and submit them to the Ministry for evaluation and reporting to the Government.
Universities, academies, and colleges incorporate this content into their main and extracurricular courses. Law students study integrated anti-corruption content. In the Administrative Law, Criminal Law, or other compulsory courses, the total duration is 15 hours, including 5 hours of self-study. (For students in non-specialized majors)Regarding the law, access to anti-corruption measures is provided through the General Law section or other suitable compulsory modules, totaling 5 class hours.
Schools should proactively consult official local documents to teach about corruption prevention, and develop annual plans for training and updating teachers' knowledge on corruption prevention. The Ministry will send inspection teams to monitor this process..
Directive No. 10, issued in June 2013, requires the inclusion of anti-corruption content in the curriculum of educational and training institutions. The Government Inspectorate is tasked with monitoring and inspecting its implementation.
