According to witnesses, Mr. Pham Duc Tien, resident of Hamlet 3, Hop Thanh Commune, was driving a motorbike with license plate 37Z9-1095 from Hop Thanh to Van Thanh, carrying a woman behind him.

When arriving at the Yen Thanh town intersection, a truck with license plate 37C-03265 bearing the Tan Nam Company logo traveling in the same direction hit the woman sitting in the back from behind, causing her to be thrown out of the vehicle and dragged under the truck. The man driving the motorbike was pushed a short distance before falling and suffering minor injuries.

After the accident, local people took the woman to Yen Thanh District General Hospital for emergency treatment. Traffic police were present at the scene to investigate the cause of the accident.
