Nghe An Border Guard: Sponsoring 97 students in difficult circumstances in border and coastal areas

(Baonghean.vn) - As of August 31, units and individuals of the Nghe An Border Guard have registered to sponsor 97 students in border and coastal areas with difficult family circumstances who are striving to study well.

The Office of the Nghe An Border Guard Command sponsored two poor students in Keng Du commune, Ky Son district.

The sponsored students are students from grades 1 to 12, living in the border area of ​​Nghe An province and Lao students in the villages across the border, who are in difficult circumstances, have no place to rely on, are children of families with preferential policies, prestigious people, people who actively participate in border protection, children of active soldiers, ethnic minorities with a particularly small population... living conditions are still difficult but they try to study well, with a support level of at least 500,000 VND/month for each student. For each student, the sponsorship period is calculated from the time the unit accepts to sponsor them until they finish grade 12.
