Nam Dan: Over 2 billion VND in outstanding transportation tax.

(Baonghean.vn) - Starting September 7th, the inter-agency inspection team for handling and collecting outstanding tax debts in the transportation sector of Nam Dan district will conduct inspections and collect outstanding debts from vehicles operating in the goods transportation business in the area.

According to statistics from the Nam Dan District Tax Department, there are currently 200 vehicles operating in the goods transport business in the district that owe over 2 billion VND in taxes, many of which have been operating for 2-3 years without paying taxes.

The inter-agency inspection team is conducting a review of vehicle owners with outstanding tax debts.

Along with raising awareness and encouraging vehicle owners to voluntarily declare and pay taxes, the inter-agency inspection team has dealt with vehicles operating in transportation and business in the area; initially, they temporarily seized 2 trucks, collected back taxes, and imposed fines totaling 25 million VND.

The Nam Dan Tax Department also conducts inspections and reviews of all households and individuals engaged in production and business activities who fail to pay taxes, have outstanding tax debts, or violate tax laws, in order to handle them according to the law.

The inter-agency inspection team will handle and collect outstanding tax debts from now until the end of September 2016.
