| According to the Vietnam National Defence Channel (QPVN), from August 22-26, in Ho Chi Minh City and the waters off Vung Tau, the Ba Son Shipyard Acceptance Council and the Navy successfully conducted the acceptance testing of the M5-M6 missile boats, numbered 382-383. |

| These are the third and final pair of ships in the contract to build six Molniya missile boats, undertaken by Ba Son Corporation, under the General Department of Defense Industry, for the Vietnam Navy. |

| Notably, the construction of this final pair of Molniya missile boats was completed ahead of schedule, six months ahead of schedule. This demonstrates the remarkable progress of Ba Son Shipyard in building modern combat vessels for the Navy. |

| The acceptance council conducted the inspection at the dock and then organized the acceptance at sea, covering aspects such as the operational performance of the turbine system, ship speed testing, turning and maneuvering capabilities, and the ability of the communication and radar systems to track airborne and maritime targets. |

| After 5 days of acceptance testing, the Acceptance Council conducted the tests according to the correct procedures, and the ship's features met the technical and tactical requirements as stipulated in the contract for the construction of the 12418 Molniya missile boat. |

| Immediately after the acceptance test was completed, the Acceptance Council held a debriefing session to identify areas for improvement so that the shipyard could continue to refine its work. Following this, the Ministry of National Defence will conduct the acceptance test, and the ship will be handed over to the Navy according to the established plan. |

| Project 12418 Molniya has a displacement of 560 tons, very high seaworthiness with a maximum speed of nearly 70 km/h under standard conditions. Its sea endurance is 10 days, and its range at average speed is 1650-2400 nautical miles. |
