Meeting to celebrate 70 years of artillery tradition

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 27, Military Region 4 held a meeting with generations of artillery officers of the Military Region to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the tradition of the Vietnam Artillery Corps.

Established on June 29, 1946, after 70 years of building, fighting and maturing, the artillery force of the Vietnam People's Army in general and the Artillery of Military Region 4 in particular has continuously grown, achieved many glorious feats, together with the army and people of the whole country, creating great victories for the nation, worthy of the 8 golden words "Brass feet, iron shoulders, fighting well, shooting accurately" awarded by Uncle Ho. In the current cause of building and defending the Fatherland, the artillery force of Military Region 4, with the spirit of "Solidarity, coordination, collective achievements", has always proactively done well in staff work, proposed to build forces, perfected the organization and staffing; strived to study, practice and master weapons and equipment, be highly combat ready, and successfully completed all assigned tasks, highly appreciated by leaders at all levels, Party committees, authorities and people of localities.
