Bank staff give gifts to poor students in Tan Ky

(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the campaign "Supporting students to go to school program", on August 30, the State Bank of Vietnam, Nghe An branch, in coordination with Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank, Nghe An branch - HD bank, gave gifts to students at schools in disadvantaged areas of Tan Ky district.

In Dong Van commune, representatives of the two units presented 10 bicycles, each worth 1.2 million VND, to 10 poor students who overcame difficulties to study well and gave 15 school bags and warm clothes to children in difficult circumstances.

Representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam, Nghe An branch, in coordination with HD Bank, Nghe An branch, donated bicycles to poor students in Tien Ky commune.

Next, the delegation presented 10 bicycles and 15 gifts to poor students in Tien Ky commune. The total value of the gifts was 40 million VND. This amount was donated and supported by officers and employees of the State Bank of Vietnam, Nghe An branch and Ho Chi Minh City Development Joint Stock Commercial Bank, Nghe An branch.

These are meaningful gifts to encourage and motivate students in disadvantaged areas in the mountainous district of Tan Ky to strive to study better./.
