At around 10am on August 28, a serious accident occurred near Ben Thuy gas station on Nguyen Du street (Vinh city), seriously injuring the cyclist.

Accordingly, at the above time, a car with license plate 37A – 069.65 driven by a man was traveling in the direction of Vinh University – Ben Thuy Bridge. When reaching the intersection near Ben Thuy gas station, it crashed into a bicycle driven by a female cleaner.

The strong crash caused the female cleaner riding the bicycle to fall onto the road, unconscious, and the bicycle was severely damaged.

Immediately afterwards, the victim was taken to the emergency room by local people in critical condition and the authorities were notified.

The cause of the incident is being investigated and clarified by Vinh City Police.
