Final round of the "Farmers' Talent Competition"

(Baonghean) - To practically celebrate the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, on the morning of October 14th, the Nghe An Provincial Farmers' Association organized the final round of the "Farmers' Talent Competition" in Vinh City. Eighteen teams from 18 districts and towns participated in the competition. These were teams with high achievements in previous competitions at the grassroots level. The teams competed in five sections: Farmers' Greetings, Solving Problems Together, Farmers' Quiz, Who's Better, and Farmers' Talent.

The "Farmers' Talent Competition" is truly a beneficial and practical platform that provides an opportunity for farmers from various localities in the province to interact, exchange experiences, and promote the new rural development movement. Through this, it contributes to the widespread dissemination of farmers' knowledge in the fields of production, livestock farming, and the development of a more civilized and modern rural economy.

After a day of competition, the organizing committee awarded first prize to the team from Thai Hoa town; second prize to Nghi Loc and Nghia Dan; and third prize to Vinh, Thanh Chuong, and Do Luong. The best team will participate in the national final of the "Farmers' Talent Competition" in 2012.
