Russia accuses NATO of applying Cold War stereotypes
On March 5, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the military alliance would increase cooperation with Ukraine but would review the “entire scope” of cooperation with Russia.
Speaking after a meeting with Russia's representative to NATO Alexander Grushko, Mr. Rasmussen emphasized that the entire scope of NATO-Russia cooperation is being reviewed, including the suspension of the joint mission related to the destruction of Syria's chemical weapons stockpile.

For its part, the Russian representative accused NATO of applying two-faced policies and "Cold War" stereotypes towards Russia.
Mr. Grushko emphasized that "this meeting proves that NATO still uses a two-faced policy and that Cold War stereotypes are still applied to Russia."
On the same day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said he and his US counterpart John Kerry agreed that Ukraine needed to maintain the agreement signed two weeks ago between ousted President Viktor Yanukovych and the opposition.
Speaking at a televised press conference after meeting with Mr. Kerry in Paris, the Russian Foreign Minister said: “We agreed that it is necessary to help the Ukrainians implement the agreements reached on February 21”./.
