(Baonghean.vn) - In the atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, on the evening of December 16, at the Nghe An Provincial Military Command, the program "Forever the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers" took place.
Attending the meeting were comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Nghe An province; Lieutenant General Nguyen Quoc Thuoc - former Commander of Military Region IV, Major General Bui Duc Tung - former Commander of the Military Command of Nghe An province, Major General Nguyen Dinh Minh - Vice Chairman of the Association of War Veterans of Nghe An province, former Commander of the Military Command of Nghe An province. Those were the difficult days of the 9-year resistance war against French colonialism; they were stories about the bravery, intelligence and sacrifice of soldiers in the resistance war against American imperialism. Speaking at the exchange night, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Military Party Committee of Nghe An province affirmed: The Vietnam People's Army with its nature of being born from the people, serving the people has matured in the hearts of the people. He affirmed: The history of the nation's revolutionary war recorded the brilliant milestones of the Vietnam People's Army, especially with the tradition of the Soviet homeland, in the two sacred resistance wars of the nation, Nghe An had more than 600 thousand cadres and soldiers on the front line. Nghe An has 130 generals holding important positions in the Vietnam People's Army through the periods. The contributions and sacrifices of the children of Nghe An in general and the generals in particular have contributed to brightening the glorious flag of the Fatherland.
