Vice President of the Lao National Assembly offers incense at Kim Lien relic site
(Baonghean) - On the afternoon of August 18, comradeSomphanh Phengkhammy -Member of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, Vice Chairman of the Lao National Assembly led a delegation of the country's National Assembly to visit the Kim Lien relic site (Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district).
Also going on the side of Nghe An province were comrade Nguyen Thanh Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Nghe An province and a number of leaders of the Office of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, the Office of the Provincial People's Council, and the Department of Foreign Affairs.

The delegation came to offer incense and flowers to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - who fought and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of liberating the people of Vietnam and Laos, fought tirelessly for the cause of peace, and established special feelings between the two parties and two peoples.

Before the spirit of President Ho, the delegation hoped that the special friendship and solidarity between Laos and Vietnam would remain forever green and sustainable. After offering incense, the delegation also visited the hometowns of President Ho Chi Minh's father and mother.
The delegation then visited and offered incense at Dai Tue Pagoda (Nam Cat Commune, Nam Dan). The pagoda is located on the top of Dai Hue mountain range, 45 meters high, and has just been inaugurated. This is a pagoda associated with the history of many kings of Vietnam.
After listening to Venerable Thich Tho Lac, abbot of Dai Tue Pagoda, introduce the pagoda, the Vice President of the Lao National Assembly planted a memorial tree here.

Before that, the Lao delegation had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council. The two sides exchanged experiences in management, organizational structure as well as activities of People's Councils at all levels.
