Compensation price for rice fields and fertile land of Hemaraj project is not more than 2 billion VND/ha.
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the agreement between Nghe An Provincial People's Committee and Thai investor Hemaraj Land Development Company Limited to invest in the project of building and operating infrastructure of Hemaraj Industrial Park and Urban Area in the Southeast Economic Zone of Nghe An province, the compensation price for land acquisition and clearance shall not exceed 2 billion VND/ha.

The research project is carried out in Dien Chau and Nghi Loc districts of the Southeast Economic Zone, Nghe An province; area 3,200 ha. Of which: Area in Nghi Loc district is about 2,100 ha and area in Dien Chau district is about 1,100 ha.
Project implementation progress from 2017 to 2028, project completion in 2036.
Nghe An agreed in principle, submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration, decided on the investment policy and granted the Investment Registration Certificate for Phase I of the project with an area of about 209 hectares. The implementation progress of Phase I from 2017 will be completed in 2021.

Nghe An Provincial People's Committee commits to carry out compensation, site clearance and handover of clean land to the investor according to the investor's investment plan and progress in each phase. In which: regarding compensation and site clearance costs for industrial park land area: Nghe An Provincial People's Committee will initially spend 10% of the total site clearance compensation costs, Hemaraj Land Development Company Limited will advance 90% of the total site clearance costs according to the approved plan (interest-free).
Nghe An will refund this advance payment to Hemaraj Land Development Company Limited within 05 years after deducting the land use fee payable for the project.
Compensation price for rice fields and fertile land shall not exceed 2 billion VND for 01 hectare; compensation for graves, trees, structures, houses, residential land and other land shall be according to the compensation unit price approved by the Provincial People's Committee at the time of preparing compensation and site clearance records.
The Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee also affirmed: Approval of this project is based on ensuring the environment and implementing land allocation in phases. This phase will be completed before phase 2 is handed over.
